This is a good mood, dance fun class for learners to feel free to enjoy moving and expressing themselves to the music. We'll learn some popular jazz moves and dance our moves to music. This will be a medium paced, well balanced dance class, with the emphasis being less on formal technique and more on personal style. Learners will have an enjoyable time learning some dance moves, and putting their moves to music.
I am a qualified, experienced dancer having danced professionally in theatre shows for many years.
Your learner dancer needs to be wearing comfortable clothing that they can easily move in. Please have a large enough space for your dancer to move and turn around freely without fear of bumping into something or knocking something over. Footwear - sports shoes are good, or jazz shoes, or any comfortable shoes to wear for dancing. ( Please ensure any shoes with laces have the laces tied firmly to avoid stepping on them by accident.) Please have drinking water on hand too, as the dancers may become thirsty during their activities
