In this class, learners will focus on CVC words. Word Families - Focus On: -ad, -ob, -ub, -ed. CVC words are essential to learning how to transform sounds into words. This phonemic awareness skill is vital to learning how to blend and read. Learn how to read CVC words through blending letter sounds, engaging activities, games, and lots of repetition. Students will need to know most letter sounds before this class. Your child should have a whiteboard, marker, and eraser to practice words...
- Students will blend sounds and make words with each word family. Students will engage in a variety of activities to practice word families. Students will recognize rhyming words. Students will sort words.
