In this class, students will learn to solve subtraction problems involving negative numbers. Students will receive a handout before the class begins that summarizes all of the tips and tricks that the class will teach. In the first meeting of the class, students will learn how to solve problems in the form of positive-minus-negative (i.e. 2-(-1)), negative-minus-positive (i.e. (-2)-1), and negative-minus-negative (i.e. (-2)-(-2)).
