TAKEN FROM MOST POPULAR CLASS THAT MEETS 4x a WEEK! This class meets 2 times a week and will utilize critical thinking skills in everything we do. Great combination of fun and learning! We will work together to use our critical thinking skills to complete story problems, logic puzzles, and all kinds of other exercises. We will highlight important information through class participation. We will discuss what we know and what we don't know, along with any word clues that tell us what type...
Students will problem solve the math problem with drawing and problem-solving. Students will take turns participating in the journal problems. Students will strengthen their critical thinking skills. Students will learn how to do a multi-step problem.
I'm a proven Outschool teacher with over a year of experience creating, revising, and perfecting virtual classes. I am a certified teacher with 15+ years of teaching in the public, private, homeschool, university, online, or private tutoring sector. I have a business communication degree, a writing minor, and a teaching certificate. I have a dynamic teaching style and animated approach to teaching and learning. I am a mental health workshop facilitator which provides resiliency skills to kids through games, role-playing, crafts, and Socratic group discussions. I've taken writer's notebook workshops and have years of classroom and tutoring experience creating and implementing lessons that utilize a variety of techniques to help students become successful.
