TAKEN FROM MOST POPULAR CLASS THAT MEETS 4x a WEEK!

This class meets 2 times a week and will utilize critical thinking skills in everything we do.  Great combination of fun and learning!  
We will work together to use our critical thinking skills to complete story problems, logic puzzles, and all kinds of other exercises.  We will highlight important information through class participation.  We will discuss what we know and what we don't know, along with any word clues that tell us what type of computation is needed. For different levels, I will remind students of the multiple ways of figuring out a problem and if they struggle, I will provide hints to help them along.  See below for details of some activities we will complete. This is a class discussion group so it's expected all students participate together.  
Each week students will get a packet full of activities we will do in class and a few at the end to do at home.

This class fills up quickly, so if you see an opening don't hesitate to give this class a try, your child will probably really enjoy it, and want to come back again & again.

Ms. Wendy is absolutely spectacular, and simply put, our son's last year of remote learning would not have worked without her. Her immense ability as an online teacher to manage the material, the students, and the platform makes every class our he has taken with her an incredible success and learning experience. In each class that she teaches, she also puts her heart and soul into getting to know and relate to the kids--always leaves time for show and tell, socializing and other social emotional learning. The kiddos feel seen and heard while they are effortlessly soaking up all that knowledge. The care that that she puts into nurturing all aspects of their learning is immense. There just aren't other early elementary teachers like Ms. Wendy on Outschool--grab her classes before they fill up, and you will be setting your kiddo up for the best online learning available! 

This is a fantastic class by an amazing teacher. Our kid was looking forward to it every day. The teacher is extremely effective and very well prepared.
Our seven-year-old son loved this class. It's a mixture of math, English skills, and critical thinking. We found it particularly helpful for our son. For the areas in which he was strong, it built his self-confidence, while at the same time helping him progress in the areas where he needed more work. Highly recommended.
