I created this class to offer a chance for learners to write interesting pieces while learning about different genres of writing in a safe and supportive environment. This class is a "step-up" from my Creative Writing for Beginning Writers class and was created for more fluent writers. Each week, I will provide learners with an engaging writing prompt. We might write a descriptive piece about their dream bedroom, re-write a popular fairy tale, or write a newspaper article about a recent...
Learners will explore a wide variety of writing genres while creating interesting pieces.

A handout will be provided each week. Learners are encouraged to keep their completed pieces together in a binder or notebook. A book of writing always promotes pride.
