創意寫作系列：詩歌俱樂部

Welcome to Poetry Club. In this ongoing course, students will learn how to write different forms of poetry. We will start with a figure of speech and practice free writing. Then we will begin instruction in a new poetic form. We will create a poem or review examples of our poetic form as a class. Then students will have time to write their own poems incorporating the figure of speech into their poems. After poetry writing students are encouraged but not required to share their poetry with the class and receive feedback. 

No experience is necessary and all learners interested in poetry are welcome.

Students will learn various poetic forms. They should also take some time to practice their new form throughout the week so they can share it within the classroom or during class poetry share time. It's helpful if students have a notebook that they keep all their poetry in for the class and throughout the week to work on their poetry outside of class.
