In this creative writing class, every week students will see on the classroom a visual (painting, photograph, gif, drawing) that they will analyze. Before class starts, they should look at the visual posted, and comment their first opinion about it. During video chats each week, each student will analyze the picture for ten minutes to get every detail possible written on paper that they see in the visual. Then, I will have each student identify their characters, setting, problem, and...
Students will improve their narrative writing skills, and learn to use conversations, transitions, aspects of a story, figurative language, and parts of speech correctly.
I am a certified teacher for early education through middle school. I taught in the classroom in New Jersey where I live, and now own a tutoring company. I have tutored writing for over 15 years, and have helped students to recognize the developments of their writing over time.
