Writing a good story often requires creativity and natural-born talent. Writing an excellent story requires an understanding of key elements of the craft. In this camp, students will explore several key components to writing a great story. Students will also receive feedback on stories they choose to submit. Topics covered in class: - Genre - Setting - Conflict - Character development - Types of characters - Showing and telling - Dialogue Students will receive feedback on any stories they choose to submit.
