Writing a good story often requires creativity and natural-born talent. Writing an excellent story requires an understanding of key elements of the craft. This camp dives deeper into the concepts studied in my class, "Creative Writing Camp," but that camp is NOT a prerequisite. Students can work on creating a new story as homework throughout this camp, or they can work on revising previous stories. Students will also receive feedback on stories they choose to submit. I have a bachelor's degree in writing with an emphasis in journalism and creative writing. Prior to teaching on Outschool, I worked as a professional writer for four years and still continue to write professionally. I have been teaching English, literature, and writing on Outschool since May 2020.
