In this lesson, students will be introduced to drawing a character of their own creation. We will talk about how to take what we see in real life to create a unique character. We will start by looking at the image of an animal's face and talk about how we could turn it into a unique character by focusing on different features and how to change them a little or a lot. Once the animal (our new character) is created, we will talk about how to portray six different emotions on the face. We will...
Students will learn to recognize what changes are made to the face that shows different emotions. We will focus mainly on the six emotions listed and what parts of the face are used most to convey those feelings.
