In this student-centered class, participants will learn the foundational skills used in creating and writing from outlines. In each class, we will begin with a source text and work together to create a keyword outline. Students will then use their outlines to write an original paragraph. Participation and creativity will be encouraged but not required. The class will maintain a relaxed and fun atmosphere and include games and humor. During each class we will also highlight one grammar skill...
Students will learn how to create outlines and then write from them. They will also learn how to fix common grammar problems and how to dress up their writing.
Students should have writing tools available for use during class.
