Using a learning portfolio that I provide, students will document their ideas and inspiration and plan everything they need to create their own pop-up restaurant. We will share ideas as a whole group and in pairs, brainstorm together, and discuss protocols for each key aspect of planning your own restaurant. Students will be given a learning portfolio. They will be required to choose a simple recipe, like a sandwich that they are allowed to prepare for the purposes of experimenting with food presentation.
