This is a one-time session course. Learners will be creating a short story and creating an illustration to accompany their written piece. This is a lecture-style course with Q and A between the teacher and peers. There will be some dialogue between the learners and the teacher bouncing off story ideas during the class session. Learners will be able to demonstrate an understanding of characters, setting, plot, problem, and solution. Learners should have a basic understanding of the knowledge...
Learners will be able to communicate and express themselves through writing.
Learners will need to have paper, pencil, and crayons to use during the session. If learners do not have these items on hand at home they can purchase them at their local Dollar Tree/Store, Big Lots, Walmart, or Target for around $5.00 depending on where they are located.
