破解密碼，像英雄一樣閱讀：Magic-e 音節的語音教學

This is one of my one-time classes that is part of my Crack the Code and Read Like a Hero series that focuses on the Simple View of Reading, specifically the decoding side,  from the Science of Reading research.

The Simple View  of Reading is:
                 Decoding (D) x Language Comprehension (LC) = Reading Comprehension (RC)

During our time together we will warm up with learning  what a syllable is  by counting syllables in words. Then we will learn about 1 syllable words with the Magic-e syllable pattern. We will learn that all syllables need a vowel and in this pattern the vowel sound is long. We will review all the long vowel sounds and practice blending them with consonant sounds.   

Next, we will learn how to label (decode) the Magic-e syllable so we can recognize it and know what vowel sound to use when located in words. This is a foundational skill needed to be able to decode multi syllable words in the future. At the end of class we will use our magic-e wands to make new words.

I will not teach this class if I have less than 2 students enrolled.  If my schedule permits, I will re-list the class to give it more time for students to enroll and I can transfer your student to that class, or I can cancel it.  I will talk with you before I make that decision. 

However, THIS CLASS CAN BE MADE INTO A 1:1 SESSION FOR YOUR LEARNER FOR AN ADDITIONAL $10. Just contact me with your date and time and I will do my best to accommodate you.
