This club is perfect for children who need extra skills, strategies, and confidence as they navigate unavoidable conflict in their lives. We will focus on foundational skills: emotional regulation, basic communication, and understanding different perspectives. We will explore skills and techniques to peacefully confront conflict in the future, as well as strategies and characteristics of b being a good friend. Content and skill development will include: Showing Empathy Good Decision Making Being a Good Friend Effective Communication Active Listening skills Conflict Resolution Role Plays

While our goal is to keep the sessions confidential between instructor and the participant,if I ever feel a child needs additional support or is not safe, I will always notify the parents.

I am the owner of Maryland Conflict Resolution. We train students, educators, employers and employees about effective conflict resolution and communication skills using workshops, online learning, and conflict coaching groups. Furthermore, I have a Masters of Education in School Counseling and an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I create a nurturing and safe environment for students to discuss their ideas and opinions freely, and I have an understanding of the developmental stages children go through, and how to meet them at their level.
