In this Ongoing Class we will focus on segmenting and blending CVC words for reading and writing. During each class we will cover a range of skills and techniques to support young readers and those beginning to bless sounds together. I like to encourage children to participate in various different ways to support different types of learners. Auditory- I will be orally segmenting the words to support the children and guide them to do the same. Visual- we will use pictures and mnumonics to...
Students will learn to segment and blend letter sounds to give a foundation for reading and writing. They will learn some non decodable tricky words to support reading and writing.
Learners will be provided with the relevent weeks phoneme frames, reading material or pictures. These may be printed if you wish. Children can alternatively work with *paper and pencil* to support their writing. All materials will be shares on screen also.
