色鉛筆素描 - 貓武士

Students will sketch a new Warrior Cat every week. Students will learn traditional drawing techniques to simplify animal anatomy into basic shapes and structures. This class will explore the fundamentals of form, anatomy and perspective in animal drawing. A fundamental, hands-on working knowledge of the colored pencil medium and equipment will be addressed as well. Various application techniques, such as blending, shading, layering, gradations, hatching and more will be discussed. Instructor will use a step-by-step approach to demonstrate art concepts such as basic Color Theory, forms, tones and value. Emphasis will be on problem-solving, skill building, and helping students develop a personal style. Specific techniques will be addressed to help students make decisions and work through and complete compositions.

Once students have built a solid foundation and keep practicing, they will be able to design a multitude of unique animals of their own. Classes are highly interactive and students will have the opportunity to socialize and share their ideas in a fun and upbeat environment. It is a beginner level class for students who would like to express spontaneous work of wild imagination.
