The CogAT Diagnostic Assessment is designed specifically for students in grades 1st-5th to evaluate their readiness for the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT). This assessment covers the three key batteries—Verbal, Quantitative, and Nonverbal—giving you an understanding of how your child would perform if they were to take the exam today.

With 5 years of experience teaching the CogAT, NNAT, OLSAT and WISC exams, I've developed targeted strategies to tackle each type of problem.                            Why Take the Diagnostic Assessment Before Tutoring?

Having your child take the assessment before signing up for tutoring sessions is a great idea. The assessment is designed to give you valuable insights into your child's strengths and areas where they may need additional focus.

Given that the CogAT consists of nine subtests, I generally recommend at least 7-9 tutoring sessions, with each session covering one to two subtests. However, I understand that this may not be feasible for everyone. The Diagnostic Assessment will allow us to tailor the tutoring sessions to your child's specific needs, making the most of the time we have together.
