-The student will need a laptop or a desktop computer with webcam, speaker and microphone (No iPad and Chromebook please, unless you want to use it as a second screen for Zoom)
- Using the Chrome browser is recommended
- One large screen is the best. They need to see my shared screen in Zoom and at the same time have the Scratch website open to work on their projects. They will need to share their screen in Zoom. Please help the student with the setup in the first class.

Scratch

The project can be completed without making an account, but cannot be saved and shared on the website. 
You can save the file to your computer without an account.
You need to create an account at https://scratch.mit.edu/ and sign in, if you want your Lerner's project to be saved automatically. You have the option to share the project publicly and the option to keep it private.
If you decide to have an account, please create one before the class starts. You can login and have the first page open by the time we start.

Having two screens would be helpful if you have a small screen.  
Using the Chrome browser is recommended.
