Every week in this 8-week course we'll learn how to use HTML/CSS/Javascript to code a 3D webpage, and explore a different part of the inner workings of the Internet. Students can move through at their own pace, using resources, and there will be group collaboration on projects which students can share with friends & family. Slides and videos are sometimes used to support learning, but the focus is on learning through doing. Week 1: HTML fundamentals. an intro to 3D worlds in A-Frame, History of Internet & World Wide Web Week 2: Images, Objects, & Assets Week 3: Cool Components + Networks Week 4: Packets + Animations Week 5: Making your world interactive Week 6: Pulling in assets from around the world Week 7: Cloning & Security Week 8: Make a Minecraft demo

Students will:
Learn HTML/CSS/Javascript coding fundamentals
Learn how to use the A-frame WebVR framework to create 3D worlds
Learn the history of Internet & World Wide Web
Learn how computers connect to, and use, the internet & World Wide Web
Learn about security issues when using the Internet
