Students will have an improved understanding of kindness and how it can be displayed.

This course focuses on character trait skills which are useful across various settings and at all ages. I have had more than 3 years of experience teaching lessons regarding character trait skills as a School Counselor. I have taught these topics using multiple different curriculum programs that align with most state standards for Character Learning or Social Emotional Learning. Previously, I spent time teaching a special education pre- school class where there was a heavy focus on character learning.

We will be reading Olaf's Night Before Christmas by Jessica Julius, inspired by Clement Moore's poem to talk about kindness during the holidays.
