This is a trial class for Introduction to Music Reading and Writing that will also introduce some important music reading concepts to learners who have no experience reading music: the grand staff, steps on the staff, and some rhythm notation. I will use slides and a digital music-writing program while sharing my screen. A link to printable sheet music is provided in the classroom. This is optional for your learner if they would like to write along while we are composing together. A pencil
Canva slides will be used, but learners do not need a login or to visit the website directly. MuseScore is a free, open source music writing program that I will demonstrate in class. We will finish with a game of Blooket.
