In this short, fun, interactive class, students will read and play games that let me informally evaluate where they are in their phonics and fluency skills. The class will give them a chance to interact with me and understand what tutoring is and how it can help them. This class and classes after it, will be the confidence booster and extra help that your child may need in early reading skills during their regular school or homeschool curriculum. I will individualize the class to meet your young learner's needs and/or skill gaps and get them interested in fun books that they will have the confidence to read.  I have a lively and fun teaching style, having tutored many students in many different venues including face-to-face, virtual, and for tutoring franchises across the country. I am also a former library director, so I can recommend fun and interesting books! I love to talk to parents along with the student to help them work together for a high success, low stress experience.
