Kristine Dizon 的單簧管課程：個人課程 1:1（30 分鐘）

Students will receive 1:1 sessions covering either material that will be provided for them or anything that they need help with from their in-school music curriculum. They will learn the basic fundamentals of the instrument by learning how to assemble it, create sound, note fingerings, rhythm, and performance. Students will be expected to already have access to their instrument, reeds, ligature, and mouthpiece. Students will need to be prepared to have a pencil, tuner, and metronome in their lessons. 

𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝
Students come from a variety of ages, backgrounds, and learning styles, and each individual has their own strengths and weaknesses. As an applied instructor, my job is to provide instruction to these characteristics by tailoring their lessons specifically to their needs as a means to highlight their talents and to build on their weaknesses while taking into account their musical goals.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜
As an instructor, my job is to quickly identify problem areas in the student’s playing and to solve them in a pragmatic matter. If one approach is not effective, I will try to find other ways to demonstrate the concept until we find a solution that works for them. My teaching approach facilitates the advancement of knowledge through thoughtful reasoning by encouraging students to seek answers to the questions around us and the questions themselves. This balance allows students an opportunity to openly discuss different topics in musical performance in a positive environment, developing their own ideas and collaborating with their peers in performance. My teaching is dynamic and versatile to serve each individual student’s needs. I found that throughout my own development and observing private students and colleagues the importance of creating a unique and creative approach to learning helps better engage and motivate students to further develop their musical passions and improve their overall musicianship.
