單簧管小組課程 - 初級！

Students will expand their learning of the clarinet through rhythm, technique and the performance of simple songs.

Week 1- Review of "basic" clarinet needs.  Including but not limited to the following: hand position, embouchure, note names for the first 5 notes, basic rhythms (whole, half and quarter notes/ rests).  Performance of simple songs.

Week 2- Review of week 1 songs.  We will continue with the addition of 2 right hand notes (B natural and flat) and perform songs.

Week 3- Review of previous weeks.  We will continue adding new notes with A and B-flat, also in the performance through simple songs.

Week 4- Review of previous weeks.  We will begin to add warm-ups and long tones for tuning, while continue to add simple songs.
 Begin to add scales (B-flat major) to our warm-up, as well as eighth notes to our rhythms in new songs!

This class is structured in a hands-on fashion where students will be the active participants as the teacher models the procedures.
Lessons are interactive, students will play most of the time and are encouraged to ask questions.
