In this class we will watch the cartoon Frosty The Snowman, on Nearpod, then we will decorate store-bought cookies to look like snowmen. My class is structured as follows: We will welcome everyone, then watch the movie, then frost cookies. I teach by example and directions. To frost the cookies, we will use store-bought, already baked cookies, and canned frosting. We will frost the cookie white, then use candy corn for the nose, mini chocolate chips for the eyes and m&ms for the mouth. If there is time we will color or play a game. My teaching style is patient and upbeat. Learners will interact with me and others while we frost cookies and when we chat after the movie. There is no prior experience needed except to be able to follow directions and frost a cookie with a plastic knife or spatula.

I teach Reading, Grammar, History and have: taught full-time, and worked as a substitute teaching many different subjects in classes from Kinder to 12th grade. My majors in college ranged from Child Development, to Theater Arts, to English, and an additional History minor. In addition to teaching I am a published author.
