This Self-Paced class is perfect for new or experienced cheerleaders!  Maybe you are prepping for a tryout or maybe you already made the team and want to improve your jumps.  Or maybe you just want to learn cheer jumps for fun!
 
Each lesson we will learn, proper arm and leg positions plus conditioning to improve your jumps and stretches to increase flexibility.   10-15 minute videos so you can easily fit them in your schedule & repeat as you have time!  The quick routines will make it easy for you to form a habit and practice everyday!  Gain new insights and ideas on how to improve.   By the end of the lessons we will have learned a Toe Touch, Pike, Front Hurdler and Jump Combinations! 

No previous experience necessary.  I give options to modify for all skill levels (beginner-advanced). 

-Each lesson a different video will be posted.  
     - Lesson 1: Toe Touches 
     - Lesson 2: Pikes
     - Lesson 3: Front Hurdlers
     - Lesson 4: Jump Combinations

-I will post weekly workout assignments (normally consisting of completing 3 practice sessions a week).  

- Discussions: Throughout the course students will be encouraged to share their progress by commenting on posts and videos and by discussing what jump/exercise/stretch they struggled with or excelled at each week.

- Photo/Video Challenge: Share your latest accomplishments. Did you just show off your jump in an awesome place or neat background?  Upload your video or picture for me to see!  How often do you stretch/practice?  What is your favorite stretching routine?  What stretch do you find most difficult?  I will share tips for how you can improve!

*Note:  I also offer this class as 4 separate Self-Paced classes if you wanted to take them separately.

Parental guidance and supervision is required. This class may include a strenuous workout/stretch. There is a risk of injury if the skills are not preformed correctly by the participants. If your child has any physical limitations, please let me know. Please choose a location with plenty of space to move around, and no hard objects nearby. Please monitor your child to make sure they are safe, following instructions and not over exerting themselves. They should have a water bottle nearby. A mat is HIGHLY recommended. You will need space to move around (inside or outside). An area at least 6x8 ft where nothing will get kicked, hit, knocked over or broken. INSIDE: If you do not have a mat, then a carpeted area is a must. OUTSIDE: A flat grassy area with a blanket, or mat, placed on the grass. Disclaimer: Coach Eden strongly recommends that you consult with your physician before your child begins any exercise/fitness program/class. Your child should be in good physical condition and be able to participate in strenuous exercise. Coach Eden is not a licensed medical care provider and represents that she has no expertise in diagnosing, examining, or treating medical conditions of any kind, or in determining the effect of any specific exercise on a medical condition. You should understand that when your child participates in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If your child engages in this exercise or class, you agree that they do so at their own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to themself, and agree to release and discharge Coach Eden from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of Coach Eden's classes.

I started competition cheerleading when I was 14. I very quickly fell in love and was in the gym almost every day! I cheered on my All-Star team until I aged out then cheered on my college competition team until I graduated! 

I have coached children pretty much all of my life.  I have coached many sports/activities but my passion is coaching cheerleading/gymnastics.  I started coaching gymnastics at the age of 15 and quickly moved onto coaching competition cheerleading as well.  

I have coached all ages and levels: kids as young as 1.5 years all the way through adults.
