This class will start with a mini presentation showcasing what model and character turn-around sheets look like. We will discuss why it's important to be able to draw a character from every angle, and methods that can ensure that character will consistently look the same. This class will also discuss the importance of posing for story-telling, and also talk about methods used in designing a new character. We will conclude the class by completing a turnaround sheet of a character supplied in class.
學習目標
It is very important when working in comics and cartooning that drawn characters look the same every time they appear. This class will teach you how to do that. Students will learn how to draw a character from the front, the side, and the back. They will learn how to think in three-dimensions with their drawings. Students will also learn how to measure their character so that they can keep consistent proportions.
