⭐ Research shows that routines and habits formed in childhood can have a big impact on future health behaviors. This class will give learners the knowledge and skills they need for a lifetime of healthy teeth! As a dental hygienist, I love teaching children how to care for their teeth. This class will answer the “whys” and “hows” of oral hygiene for children. 🦷 First, we will discuss why it is important to take good care of our teeth. Learners will understand why oral care is important and will know how to properly care for their teeth in order to maintain a healthy smile.
I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2012. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, I have had many experiences teaching dental-related topics to children in school settings and in the dental office. As a Certified Online ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher, I have taught over 750 online English classes to students ages 3-14. I have experience making online classes successful and engaging.
Optional: A toothbrush (Students can show the class their toothbrush when we practice proper brushing technique in class.)
