Join me in this class as we learn how caterpillars turn into butterflies! We will read a book, The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. We will also make a craft that is a caterpillar, but also can be made into a butterfly! The science experiment uses a balloon to transform a caterpillar into a butterfly! Students will learn how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly.
Materials for the craft : 1 clothespin, small green pompoms(about 8 or so) , 1 pipe cleaner, one piece of tissue paper ( any color) , glue , scissors
Parental Guidance is required for the use of scissors and glue.
It would be great for your child to have the book " The Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle. They can follow along as I read the book!
