At the end of this classes, students will improve their skills as chefs. They will be able to recall the steps to this recipe, choose the correct equipment to use for different purposes and demonstrate the creation of snow cones.

(Optional) After class, try making it with a fruit juice syrup! 

With adult supervision: 
-	Pick 3 different color fruit juices. (about 25oz each)
-	Pour each of the fruit juices into separate saucepans. 
-	Add 1/4 cup of sugar to each pan, stir and bring to a boil.
-	Simmer on a medium heat until reduced by approximately two-thirds. 
-	For a richer color, add a few drops of food coloring to each pan (of the same color as the juice) and stir. (Optional)
-	Leave the syrups to cool as it will slightly thicken and then you may add it to your snow cone.
-	Enjoy!!!
