- Students will learn some graphic design basics along with Canva skills in typography, color theory, design, and compilation through hands-on learning projects.
As a writer, business owner and teacher I use Canva everyday for just about everything. The class image and the video you see in all of my courses are created in Canva. I also have 3 years of teaching experience in graphic design as well as certifications in Adobe Photoshop and Business education. I've also been a language arts and creative writing teacher for the last 27 years.
Google guardian account for learner I will share a Canva for Education link students can join using their guardian account. SPECIAL NOTE: It is helpful for students to be logged in to Zoom with one device to watch the teaching and a second device to follow along and create their Canva digital art. Students can also click back and forth between browser tabs.

Short YouTube videos for kids about graphic design. I will make sure they are carefully vetted for age appropriateness.
