O'Canada! This 6 week course will explore Canadian History, focusing on Heritage and Identity, Communities in Canada from 1780-1850 (based on the Ontario curriculum). This course uses a combination of discussion, lecture, and activities. Learners will be asked to share their thoughts and opinions and will be encouraged to participate as much as they are comfortable. I have a friendly and relaxed teaching style and will work to encourage collaboration and conversation amongst learners....
I am a Canadian Teacher, certified by the Ontario College of Teachers. I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education with a teachable in Geography/Social Studies. I am certified to teach grades Kindergarten to Grade 10.

We will use Google Suite (drive, docs, slides forms) in this course. Learners will occasionally be asked to respond to Google Forms or demonstrate learning in a Google Doc. Google Slides and Jamboards will be displayed via screen sharing by the teacher but learners will not be required to use them on their own.
