In this Exam English Writing camp, learners will practise grammar related to the FCE and CAE exam. Classes will include input on the grammar and vocabulary, practise tasks and feedback each week too. What will you learn? Week of 28/10/24 Word order and emphasis Nominalisation it and there Week of 4/11/24 Complex prepositions Prepositions after nouns and adjectives Tenses Week of 11/11/24 The Future Modals 1 Modals 2 Week of 18/11/24 Nouns, agreement and articles Determiners and Quantifiers Adverbs and Adjectives Week of 25/11/24 Comparison Verb patterns 1 Verb patterns 2 Week of 2/12/24 Relative Clauses 1 Relative Clauses 2 Adverbial Clauses Week of 9/12/24 Conditionals Participle, to-infinitive and reduced clauses Noun clauses Week of 16/12/24 Conjunctions and connectors The passive Reporting Week of 23/12/2024 - Substitution and Ellipsis Each week will include input on how to complete the task successfully. Learners will use the grammar in practice exam questions to ensure they have a good grasp of the rule and application. We look forward to being part of your learning journey!
