I am passionate about both Math and Teaching, and it is now my mission to help you to master the skills that you need to fulfill your goals.
I am a National Board-certified math teacher with over 30 years of experience in the classroom.  I have a master’s degree in mathematics and have taught all levels from Algebra to Calculus in a large urban school (our district was a five time finalist and national winner of the Broad Prize for Urban Education). My career highlights include:
Teaching AP Calculus for 29 years
Mentoring of student teachers
Being team leader for multiple subjects
Department chair 
Honed during my 3 decades of teaching, I fully appreciate that students have different learning styles.  Small group instruction allows me to adapt to your style of learning rather than you adapting to a teacher's teaching style.  Math doesn't come naturally to everyone,  let's focus  on breaking down the challenges and helping you work at a pace and approach that best suits you.
I was born, raised and educated in Ireland.
