Did you know that 1/2 of our English vocabulary is made up of Latin words and roots? When we learn the meaning of the Latin roots, we build our knowledge of the English language....even for words we have never seen before. In each class, we will learn two new Latin roots and four English words that correspond with that root. We will begin the class by learning the Latin root.
