「熊巴迪」- RAZ 引導識字閱讀課程 C 級和 Kahoot 遊戲

The story is called "Buddy the Bear".   This is a Level C Book.  

Reading AtoZ Leveled Books are great for enhancing students reading skills.
 Session 1:  Students will learn new vocabulary and sight words, engage in a picture walk, discuss and make predictions.  A worksheet for vocabulary will be done in session 1.   

Session 2:  Students will review vocabulary from prior class and engage in  decoding and fluency practice by reading the story with the teacher.  Afterwards, we will sequence story events and answer literal and abstract comprehension questions.  Teacher will engage students to make Text-text or text-self connections with the book.   Students will answer comprehension questions.  We will discuss "What lesson did the main character learn?"   

Teacher will engage students by asking students to bring a favorite stuffed teddy bear or other animal to the story session.

A kahoot app game will be utilized to review comprehension questions.

 The class lesson will use a variety of materials: powerpoint, worksheets, visuals, peer and teacher discussions.  Students  enrolling can be at the Kindergarten level. Older students who want to practice fluency and comprehension reading skills can join!
