In these 1:1 singing lessons students will learn how to sing their favorite songs with proper technique. Each lesson will begin with a vocal warm up where I make sure the students' body and voice is warm and ready to sing, then we will go into a short lesson (this could be on vocal anatomy, proper breathing techniques, vocal registers or music theory). Finally, we move onto learning and working on a song. My teaching style is energetic and kind. I emphasize music appreciation over perfectionism. If a student is taking consistent lessons with me, I make sure they are properly exposed to sight reading, ear training and basic music theory. Students will interact with me during their lesson time and I try to stay as available as I can during the week to respond to any questions they might have between lessons.
