In this class we will meet weekly and engage in learner-directed discussions of all things Brick Ninja! Topics may include the T.V. series, characters, the Brick Ninja movie, the Brick Ninja video game and discussion of brick builder sets and character builds. There will often be activities such as trivia, debates and show and tell. Kids will have the opportunity to suggest discussion topics and participate in free flowing conversations! Students will learn how to express their opinions in a kind, respectful way. They will learn conversation skills and become comfortable with public speaking all while having a great time. They will learn how to support their opinions and support others in the process. They will learn listening skills, turn taking and group togetherness. Additionally, they will be engaged in a group discussion and learn what it is to be part of a community.
