課堂經歷
In this class we will briefly review what multiplication is, and discuss the new method of multiplication called the box method. For this lesson, we will need to review our adding skills, and multiplying numbers by 10 before introducing the box method. Once students show an understanding, I will introduce the box method. I will demonstrate the method and check for understanding. We will do the box method together a few times until the student is able to work on their own. For this class students are expected to know their 1-9 times table. Please come to class prepared with a pencil and notebook/paper.
