讀書俱樂部 - 星期三的戰爭和重啟

This course will explore two engaging middle-grade novels, Restart and The Wednesday Wars, which center on themes of identity, personal growth, second chances, and resilience. Through guided discussions and written reflections, students will analyze how characters navigate change, face challenges, and develop relationships.

Students will complete all reading outside of class and should come to class ready to discuss. Each week, discussion questions will be posted that will guide our class time together and allow students to take notes as needed. Optional writing assignments between classes will be posted and students will receive detailed feedback upon submission.Students will engage in discussions, share their ideas, and respect different viewpoints.

Meanwhile, he deals with a demanding father, a sister who dreams of escaping, and the challenges of growing up during the Vietnam War. Through humor and heartfelt moments, Holling learns about courage, kindness, and finding his own voice.
