每週 1-2 小時. Students will be asked to read approximately 10 pages a day outside of class. There will also be short homework assignments given at the end of classes 1 and 2 that would take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete. Peter Hatcher feels like a fourth grade nothing. Why? Because of his brother Fudge. Fudge is two years old. He throws tantrums, he makes huge messes, ruins Peter's homework and NEVER gets in trouble for ANY of it! Peter is tired of it! What is he going to do? How can he get his parents to pay attention to him and not Fudge? Join me and read all about it in class. We will talk about story elements, vocabulary, summarization, and more! Week 1: Discuss chapters 1 through 4 and setting Week 2: Discuss chapters 5 through 7 and characters Week 3: Discuss chapters 8 through 10 and problem/solution Students will be required to obtain the book Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume to complete the required reading outside of class. They will also need paper and pencil to complete some of the homework. *Please read chapters 1-4 before the start of the first class. **For this class, students need to be able to read at a third grade reading level or higher.

I have my bachelors degree in special education plus additional course work for art and TESOL (teaching English as a second language). I have been working with children for more than 20 years including as a certified teacher and a homeschool mom. I have worked with a wide variety of age groups and and taught a variety of subjects including severe-profound special education preschool, honors high school and everything in between. But my specialties are drawing, brick building classes, elementary literacy, special education and baking. I even own small bakery!
My husband and I have three children. We enjoy camping, hiking, going to the park and playing board games as a family. My personal hobbies include baking, reading, painting, drawing and crocheting.
