In this ongoing book club, learners will read and discuss one of the Junie B Jones each week developing their comprehension, vocabulary, spelling and much more! Jones and Her Big Fat Mouth 🔹 Week of 16/9/24 - Junie B. Jones and Some Sneaky Peeky Spying 🔹 Week of 23/9/24 - Junie B. Jones and the Yucky Blucky Fruitcake 🔹 Week of 30/9/24 - Junie B. Jones and That Meanie Jim's Birthday 🔹 Week of 7/10/24 - Junie B. Jones Loves Handsome Warren 🔹 Week of 14/10/24 - Junie B. Jones Has a Monster Under Her Bed 🔹 Week of 21/10/24 - Junie B. Jones Is Not a Crook 🔹 Week of 28/10/24 - Junie B. Jones Is a Party Animal 🔹 Week of 4/11/24 - Junie B. Jones Has a Peep in Her Pocket 🔹 Week of 11/11/24 - Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus Learners can join the class at any point. This is an ongoing course so each class stands alone. We focus on a different theme from the books each week whilst developing comprehension skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing. Learners can join the class no matter how much of the series they have read. Each week will include a range of teaching activities including reading out loud, videos, discussions, activity sheets, Q+A, slides and more. Learners will be encouraged to share their ideas in a variety of ways throughout each class. Please do contact us with any questions. We look forward to being part of your learning journey!

Please note, this is an English language class. This is not a 'read along' class. Our own teaching materials are used to teach learners during this course. The focus of the classes is to develop language including, phonics, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, fluency and writing skills.

Learners will need a notebook, pencil and crayons for each class. The books are required for this class. Students may use e-books, hardcopy and paperbacks, or audiobooks to read and comprehend the text.
