Come tour the world through great books! Join me and other classmates from all over the planet as we read exciting stories about great adventures and the people who experienced them. In this series, we’ll read one book together over the course of 3 weeks, giving you time to read and dive into the story. 3 lessons//3 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1Introductory Mini Lecture and DiscussionDuring the first live meeting, I will be introducing you to the author and the book, focusing on culture, history, and the geography covered in the story. You don't need to have any of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 read yet, but feel free to start it if you like.Week 2Lesson 2Discussing Chapters 1-4During the live meeting, we will discuss Chapters 1-4 using conversational Socratic method. We will also discuss the week’s exciting lapbook project!Week 3Lesson 3Discussing Chapters 5-7During the live meeting, we will discuss Chapters 5-7 using conversational Socratic method. We will also have a chance to show the class our favorite piece of clothing!
Literature analysis, vocabulary reinforcement, study skills, keeping to an assigned reading schedule, and social skills.

You can acquire whichever edition of 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔 works for you. Beg, borrow, or buy! Craft supplies will be listed in the classroom the week before you'll need them. I stick to supplies that you will generally have on hand: paper, markers, tape, etc.
