Hi there! My name is Bailey Super, I'm a 2019 graduate of Whitman College with bachelor's degrees in French language and literature and in Psychology. I am offering several levels of speaking-based French courses for French language learners on Outschool through engaging facets of French/francophone culture, such as film and food.
I have spent the 2019-2020 school year in France as a teacher, teaching English to French students from elementary to high school, and even to French adults. My studies in French and my teaching in English have taught me that learning a new language is much more fun and easy when it occurs through a culture's lens: that is why we will be watching French/francophone films, listening to French music, and discussing the cuisine and art as we learn! I have enjoyed teaching learners of all ages and language levels and cannot wait to teach my class!
Fun fact: At age 10, the language class I chose to take was French because the teacher was the only one who gave out candy! I soon realized my love for the language and continued studying it throughout my entire career as a student. I stopped needing candy to learn French a few years ago, but it can be a great study buddy.
