I offer tutoring sessions for students who need more help in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Calculus or math-based AP Exams. I believe each student has the potential to be successful in math and my goal is to break the stigma that “math is too hard.”

Students will practice math skills that include the following:
Algebra - 
      Numbers, variables, constants, expressions, equations, linear equations, and quadratic equations

Pre-Calculus - 
      Complex numbers, rational functions, trigonometric functions and their inverses, inverse functions, vectors and matrices, and parametric and polar curves.

Trigonometry- 
    The use of the three basic functions: sine, cosine and tangent. And the use of the corresponding ones: secant, cosecant and cotangent.

Calculus - 
    Limits, derivatives and integration

AP exams prep -
    Precalculus, Calculus AB, Calculus BC 

During the session, I will first listen patiently and assess what the student is struggling with. I will implement multiple strategies to approach the problem. This is to understand the learner's comprehension of the topic, and break problems down into manageable parts individualized to the learner. There will be guided practice problems and students will also be given the opportunity to work out problems with or without the teacher’s assistance. It is required that parents contact me about which topic they would like covered and specific areas the child needs improving. Practice problems can be provided at the request of the student or parent.  Practice problems would also include solutions.
