This Biology - Swing Into Summer 2024 class will focus on introducing students to the main concepts covered in High School Biology. Using my extensive scientific research experience, and 16 years of successfully teaching AP Biology, I will encourage learners to better understand new material and engage in two-way discussions related to the selected topic of each class.

Please note that each weekly session is a unique topic and no prior knowledge is necessary to join Biology - Swing Into Summer 2024 at any time. 

This Ongoing Class will cover the following topics:

 Week 1 : Characteristics of life - students will learn the basic characteristics that are associate with all life forms.

 Week 2 : Basic Chemistry - students will learn basic chemistry concepts including the structure of an atom.

 Week 3 : Macromolecules - students will learn the structure and function of four biologically important molecules.
 
Week 4 : A Tour of the Cell - students will learn the function of the major organelles that make up plant and animal cells.
