In this ongoing class, we will work to prepare preschoolers for kindergarten. We will practice letters, letter sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, weather, months of the year, and days of the week. We will be learning these things in Spanish and English. We will also have thematic units and many will go along with the different seasons. Some of these include apples, pumpkins, farm animals, ocean animals, pets, winter animals, and our body. We will make friends with each other, learn to take...
Students will gain confidence going into kindergarten with a fresh review of all of the basics including : letters, sounds, numbers, days of the week, months of the year, colors, and shapes. They will also have fun learning these things in Spanish. Children of this age are at an optimal age for language learning! It is also the perfect age to learn another language!
I have a degree in elementary education and a minor in early childhood. I also have a minor in Spanish. I am a former Kindergarten teacher I'm the brick and mortar classroom and a former Spanish classroom teacher as well. I LOVE teaching this age! It is truly my favorite! I also love to travel and enjoy sharing my travel experiences in the classroom. I have also taught online for 2 years.
