This is an ongoing violin class for students who want to continue refining their skills while learning their favorite Classical and popular songs. If your child has been learning violin at school and wants to advance faster, this class will surely help them reach their playing goals. 

     Experience: At least one year of experience playing the violin.

     The techniques we will focus on are: 
Vibrato, off-the-string strokes, smooth bow changes, beautiful tone production, and consistent intonation. Besides the already-scheduled songs I have chosen, students are welcome to provide their song suggestions to be played in class. 

     Students must have at least 1 year of playing experience to join this class, and must have finished the first level of a method book. We will use a combination of "Suzuki Book 1,2,3", "Fiddle Sprinters," and popular songs to provide a well-rounded approach to violin playing. They should be able to:
-Play their G, D, and C major scales
-Read music and understand the basics of music theory

     The class schedule is as follows:

-Technique of the Day/Scales
-Pieces/Songs
-Performance Time: (A time for learners to show what they have learned if they wish to do so.)
