Tin Whistle Camp Students will learn tin whistle using Walton’s Scottish Tin Whistle book. This is a beginning class. Students will learn a little about the background of the piece, how to finger it and basic techniques of tin whistle playing. All pieces have fingering for each note in the song; most songs are in the key of G or D major. Students will learn beginning Scottish pieces on the tin whistle. They will learn fingerings and rhythms used to play these pieces. Students should be comfortable with learning one piece per day and be willing to practice daily.
